We entered Yellowstone Park from North, met a Big Horn Sheep and a marvellous scenery.

Next day after a good night sleep at Indian Creek we looked at the Geysers

Full picture: 147kb Full picture: 140kb In the eastern part of Yellowstone Park we saw the Pelican on distance.
It wasn't easy to get a picture close enough.
We saw the Bison, the Mule deer, the Mule moose but no bears.


Yellowstone National Park er den største nationalpark i USA. Den omfatter 9000 km² af Rocky Mountains i Wyoming. Den består af en vulkansk højslette 2000-3000 meter over havets overflade, omgivet af sneklædte bjergkæder og er gennemstrømmet i dybe dale af Yellowstone-floden.
Der er mange vandfald og varme kilder og en stor vildtbestand, bl.a. bjørne og bison.
Området blev fredet 1872.
Da vi ankom til parken var det meget varmt; men så snart solen forsvandt, faldt temperaturen meget kraftigt. Tidligt om morgenen kunne vi aflæse termoteret til +1 grad Celcius.
Det var ikke tilladt at anvende generator, og der skulle være fuldstændig ro fra klokken 20,00 til 08,00.
